Naturex, Avignon, France, is opening its own corporate foundation—an independent entity with its own resources—to support education, medicine and basic necessities in communities from which Naturex derives plant materials. The Naturex Foundation has already committed to supporting the Moroccan project: “Agriculture Program for Disabled Young People.” The aim of this project is to promote social integration for young disabled people in the countryside by setting up farms fully integrated in the economic activity and social life. In addition, the Naturex Foundation has started a partnership with a Peruvian association to assist in upgrading and improving local infrastructure.
